Located at the edge of the Estano, in Les Marines of Denia, at the center bay outlets of the Alberca and Girona rivers, tempered by the southeast winds, is the Noguera Mar Hotel. The birth of the business stems back from an inheritance of land where only melons and grapes of the moscatel variety could be cultivated – and a small house that Juanito Noguera received from his parents Pep and Tona.
Back in the 60's, the meadow of posidonia – Mediterranean plant that gets its name from the king Poseidon – which extends along the front of the property, became a claim for a wide variety of marine fauna so the affluence of lovers of fishing was then. -and is still constant today. |

| If to all this we add Juanito's ability to make friends, and his wife Rosa's ability as hostess to organize any situation that started with a table being the protagonist, it's no wonder they would open their window to visitors to enjoy some cazalla or wine accompanied by some octopus and bread with olive oil. |

In the meantime, the tourists arrived in search of sun and beaches and the Nogueras started to seriously consider a business. But to be able to start, it was necessary to obtain the money. So they decided to sell the family bakery and emigrate, Juanito, Rosa and their children did it, they went to France and in time, they returned and built a restaurant next to that little house that started it all. Once back, -and despite all the difficulties – the work and dedication permitted the business and family to prosper and grow.
Nonetheless, the restaurant was rented out in 1987 and the hostal in 1989. In 2001, the family, with rejuvenated blood and energy, launched themselves into the adventure of taking charge and managing the rooms, remodel them so they could continue with the family business. |

This is how by the end of summer 2005, the Nogueras re-opened their doors to manage the hotel-residence.
The hotel has been reformed with all the maximum comforts in order to satisfy the most demanding of clients.
